Unknown Number - Call Log
 

Hi All,

I have a Blackberry Curve 8520 and have noticed that when I receive/miss calls from an 'Unknown Number' it never shows in the call log.

I don't remember how I done it but I now have my call logs set to save in the 'Messages' folder. It shows missed calls as well as calls I make and receive, even from unknown numbers and stores the date, time & duration of the call.

Now the problem is I have now noticed that these messages get automatically deleted after 1 month so I have now lost important records of calls that I needed to keep.

The information of the calls I needed back date to 7th March 2011 and I havent backed my phone up since before that date. I've looked through the settings but can't seem to find anything that says delete message after a certain time so unsure why they are even being deleted.

Is there any way I can restore the deleted messages?

yes its very annoying, i just did the upgrade too and lost all my "unknown" and "private number" calls :( I wish someone had the answer to this!!! :cry: should i downgrade operating systems or what?

If you did an OS upgrade was a backup file created? You might be able to get your logs back by restoring them to your phone.
