App Error 523- Reset
 

Hello,

I have a problem with my bb (9300). After installing an application, an error appear: app error 523, reset. I can do anything, it doesn't work at all.
The phone isn't detected by my computer, and desktop manager (I wanted to reload the OS, but indeed I can't!)

If anyone can give me some help.. Thank you!

A frequent error that we see, generally due to a corrupt or incompatible app or theme or corrupt files caused by a bad install process.

I am h aving a similar nightmare, I get the 523 Error, I have the Exception Handling: 7 >= 7 thing come up, and on occassion it says that the User is Dead or something of that nature.

My issue is that before I do anything I really need to get vital information saved and storage on the memo pad... and images if possible.... does anyone know how to get there?

Cant see anything on DM as it doesnt detect before the error comes, or it detects, but then isnt up long enough to work any magic... i've looked at BBSAK but cant see how to get anything other than 3rd party apps, which I dont care about, off the thing...

Any help greatly appreciated!

If you don't have a back up and a battery pull doesn't fix it or the data isn't stored on the SD card, then it will be lost once you reload the OS.

If it was that important, why did you not back them up?

hi guys!
i got this error in my storm9530. im unable to connect through desktop software. i dont mind installing a fresh copy of the OS. please help

Go to the stcky at the top of the Blackberry Help section for tips on what to do if DM fails to connect.
