Maintaining WIFI
 

Hi I'm a long time visitor to this site. This is my first post hopefully I'm not being too forward posting a thread as my first post, but I have a rather pressing question I need help on.

I have a question for you wifi experts out there. Basically, I'm in a situation where I get hardly any cell signal at my workplace. Therefore I use wifi quite a bit. My TMO curve with UMA was able to maintain a connection with the wifi all day. When I attempted to upgrade to the Bold, theconnection would close in about 10 min and I would be forced to go back into the acceptance page. This is true for most other devices in this network, but for some reason my Curve has always been able to maintain a stable connection longer than the network specified 10 minutes "of inactivity"

Therefore, my question is this. Is there any way I can somehow maintain a connection to an unsecured wifi network with a captive portal? on an ATT Bold that has been unlocked to TMO.
