BB not connecting to wifi!
 

Hi,
I recently got my bb curve 8520 from a friend, I unlocked it from a rogers phone so it worked with fido (the company i'm currently with). But for some reason now it wont connect to any wifi. It used to work for her all the time! I tried it with her wifi and it didn't work, I figured her wifi was just being weird, but now it wont work with mine either. I was wondering if some one could send me step by step instructions on how to fix this, or if anyone has had these problems before?!
Help!

Do you have an active BlackBerry Data Plan for the device?

Sounds like conflicting Carrier encoding. Her rogers encoding is messing with your Fido SIM.

Try going to fido's website and downloading the latest OS from them (on your PC) and back up your data, using the USB Cable, using desktop manager. Then install the OS to your BB

If that still doesn't work, PM me for an easy workaround
