Blackberry link

Every time I try to play an MP3 file, or some other various forms of media, whether it be using a media player or whether it be through anything else, as long as there is an mp3 file somewhere on my computer trying to be played by anything at all, windows installer pops up with 'Please wait while windows configures blackberry link', 6 times. I have to cancel it, then another one will open, then i have to cancel that. 6 times. My dad did install this software on my laptop before but I have since uninstalled it, aswell as removing all registry relations and files I could possibly find. It's as if my hard drive is literally posessed by a blackberry link demon. Every time I try to let it go through with the installation, surprise surprise, it can't find the installation files, so it quits itself. I've tried looking for any remaining blackberry files on my computer but THERE ARE NONE. What do I do? This is extremely annoying and a terrible terrible blow for my opinion on blackberry which is already low. Please help.

PC. And like I said, it's not just opening an MP3 file either. I make games with game maker and when I add a sound effect and it triggers in game this happens too, so changing that (assuming that's what you meant) wouldn't be an option in this case.

Re: Blackberry link

right click on MP3 file and choose open with and then select media player

As I said twice before, this does not affect anything. No matter what I open it with, the problem still occurs, and not only that but it also occurs when an mp3 file is played as a sound effect in a game or something. Do you understand now?

Perhaps you may want to post on the official BlackBerry corporate support board at Device Support Forums - BlackBerry Support Community Forums

This is a privately owned discussion forum, staffed by volunteers trying to help.

I sense an attitude problem.

If you were a 16 year old boy who has had this shitty software intruding on your laptop after already having a vendetta against blackberry you'd have an attitude problem too. He clearly did not read what I said.
