Help - No Wifi (disabled?)

Hi - just received a new work BB. Upgraded from a 8830 to the new Torch. So far I am very impressed, and my iphone envy I get when I see friends with apple phones has at least temporarily subsided.

Anyways - the one issue I am having trouble with is that there does not appear to be a WiFi option on my Torch. When I go to "Manage Connections" from the home screen, the only two options are "mobile network" and "bluetooth". The BB menu button does not give me an option of adding wifi.

Now, I do work for an extremely paranoid company - would/could they have disabled this feature so I users cannot access unsecured wifi hotspots?

Anyone have any ideas how I can get wifi to work?

I am with Bell Mobility and running os6.0 Bundle 695 if that helps...

Your company probably disabled the WiFi feature.
If they did, there's nothing you can do to enable it.

Yep, they probably did disable it - does anyone know why companies do this or is it a case of an IT guy going for a power trip?
