Playbook won't power on
 

Hi guys

Just got my playbook back from a friend, it was returned dead

Plugged it in for over 10hrs now and still no sign of life

What do I do???:-(

I moved this out of the other thread which was about BlackBerry no longer updating the PlayBook.

Can you try a different charger?

Mine was difficult to charge at first. I bought it from someone reliable on this forum so I knew it was not defective. I bought a BlackBerry PlayBook Charging Stand for it and once I was able to put a good charge on my PlayBook with that it became much easier to charge.

Are you using the PlayBook charger that came with the device or a BlackBerry charger?

Agreed, when my niece's wouldn't charge my stand did the trick for her.

Once I got mine to charge the first time it was as if it learned how to charge and it was much easier from that point on.
