What time is the hearing?

Does anyone know the actual scheduled time of the hearing tomorrow?

udontknowjack 02-23-2006 10:21 AM

Does it matter. It will not be over in a day. We probably won't hear any news on this until next week sometime. I was told by RIM, the hearing could take a few days to almost a week.

RIM won the patent ruling. They have a workaround...this thing might be quicker than we originally thought.

OMG... "RIM won the patent ruling" This just absolutely screams out for MFTP.

Way quicker. It's been going on for four years now. RIM was found guilty over two years ago.

Sigh... Too hard...

bbgirl 02-23-2006 02:52 PM

pjdyer214

did you even read the article...?

lol...dont be so quick to cheer...there are 8 patent examples to consider...a few of them have been back and forth....

bbgirl 02-23-2006 02:56 PM

the bloomberg article says, that the patent office will post is final decision today.

okay, does anyone know how to actually "read" these rulings? i just spent at least an hour on this website, and man my head hurts....

pjdyer214 02-23-2006 03:50 PM

I did read the article, just trying to share some relevant info on this subject. I posted the patent article to let others know that there is much more to this issue than this hearing on 2/24. Thought others could have a link to something other relevant to the topic other than more of this condescending bulletin banter. Funny that you are quick to bash my post in one message and then go on to quote the Bloomberg article in your next post!

Super Moderator...go easy on me I'm new and am just trying to share what I've found on the subject. I didn't see much else about patent ruling and was not implying that the patent ruling was the end to this...just pointing out an observation.

bbgirl 02-23-2006 03:52 PM

I didnt' mean for it appear as if I was bashing...I wasn't we are in this together....

i just didn't want you to get excited on just one patent denial.

please share all the info you can...we need to know as soon as it happens!!!!!!

juwaack68 02-23-2006 03:59 PM

So, the hearing is at 9:00am EST. Glad we cleared that up.

Hyper7PCR 02-23-2006 04:01 PM

bbgirl 02-23-2006 04:01 PM

I keep telling our company sales people that our contingency 'package' includes 2 tin cans, 50 yds string, abacus, pad of paper, and a dozen golf pencils.

It's worth it to see the look on their faces.

bbgirl 02-23-2006 04:06 PM

lol...I have been telling them that they actually will have to come into the office.

I usually dont get to finish my sentence before they hang up...lol.

Damn you are even supplying them with the pencils and all, geez, we told them they have to buy their own pencils. Short of that we suggested to bone up on smoke signal reading skills.

bbgirl 02-23-2006 04:29 PM

oh my god.. i just realized, that i might have to actually see these people now..

i will have to come to work on time and be nice to them in person (....begins to sob silently)

....oh this is bad. anyone know this judge's address, so i can go and cut his grass or something!!!?

NJBlackBerry 02-24-2006 09:55 AM
