my z10's battery too... this is just horrible, i updated my device (z10) 2 days ago to 10.2.1.2102 ... after the update i charged it to 95% it was 9am, left my phone in my room then i came back 1pm checked the phone, and the battery life was only 54%. wifi, nfc, bluetooth etc were turned off, no running apps either...

Re: My battery draining

once you update the OS it can take 48 hours for everything to settle in.

linking contacts, media thumbnails, music lists and more

i have read that too... 48-72 hour to acclimate to new OS.. but it's been 5 days since the update, the PIM services went to 2% from 17% but the System keeps eating my battery, still 22% percent...

Re: My battery draining

PIM could be multi sync a corrupt item

Start with this.

In outlook Make a new folder for contacts called backup

move all contacts to the folder and wait for all to be removed from device

then pull battery on device and put back in

After device boots move contacts from backup to the contacts folder and wait for them all to appear

Make a new contact in outlook and see if it gets to the device.

highlight calendar
goto file import/export
choose export to file
choose Persoanl folder pst, next
make sure calendar is highlighted and choose subfolders if you have them, next

save to desktop with a name you can remember, Finish
Click ok on screen popup

Go to view, arange by events
delete all entries.

close outlook and any word files, open outlook back up after 15 seconds.

Then
goto file import/export
import from another program or file, next
choose Persoanl folder pst, next
find the file and import
Choose highlight calendar and Finish
Change view back to what you want and try again.

Re: My battery draining

did some experiment...charged my phone(with my old sim) to 95% after 4 hours idle my battery went down to 24%(system-22%, PIM-17%) then charged my phone again to 95% this time i removed my sim and observed it for 4 hours same settings. and my battery percentage went down to only 90% and my System and Pim went down to less than 2%... i don't know exactly what is the correlation but i did the job,,, now i using my z10 as daily driver again with new sim card... now the system is 1% and PIM is 0.2%..
