4.5 released to Blackberry partners
 

When I saw this tidbit o' information in Newsgator this morning, I almost leapt for joy.

That is, until I noticed that it only mentions GSM but not CDMA. GSM carrier customers, get ready for some official 4.5 lovin'.... It looks like we CDMA adherents are going to have to wait a while.

I know these new versions are really nice to have but it will be life changing experience if RIM could fix two issues

**When we are using silent profiles why phone keytones are still active.
**Remove the MDS (5mb) limit on download when we are on WiFi.

RIM has released a number of packages to Partners over the last few months. This is nothing new and is likely still to be considered a beta (perhaps RC2 stage or so) - 4.5.0.18 was done the same way just a couple weeks ago.

Why all people wait for the 4.5??? We get this 1 month ago.......

Your version is a beta version and has not been publicly released. It got leaked and many posted it and downloaded it illegally.

Besides, your 4.5.0.18 isn't the most current beta, anyway. The one of which they speak is several versions newer than your .18.
