File security query

I have a 9550 Storm 2 and want to hold a file on it which contains all my security information, everything!

Being a complete novice, I somehow would like to make the file completely unreadable to anyone who might take my mobile.

Can this be easily set up?

I have heard of 'encryption', but I have no knowledge of the subject and don't know if this would be the best approach to securing a file against any attack.

Please advise

First step. Password protect the device.
