Video player for Playbook

Does anyone have any suggestion on which video player is worth using (or paying for) there are only two player and they are titled FLV player, one has 3 reviews and the other has a few more but not really satisfactory.
I also tried sideloading one, but it is a bit slow and buggy, although it does offer a lot more options.

Format or compatibility is not important, even if it only allows playback of native format, I am looking for more features.

I use the standard Video Player that comes with the PlayBook.

Most of the video/movies I have are compatible with the PB already, for any errors I just convert it using Handbrake or

If you wanted to stream video/music from your PC to your PB you could use Orb Caster, or VLC Remote. App World and Sideloading respectively.

I don't want to stream, just want to be able to play in succession and be able to view videos in folder view etc.. Player is just dumping everything into screen and does not play continuously.
I tried Maestro for android, it is decent but buggy.

Unfortunately, I don't have a solution for you. Hopefully RIM may as we get more updates to the PlayBook.

Stock VPlayer is not the best, but it does the job.

Re: Video player for Playbook

Just in case anybody at Blackberry is watching I also want a video player. I use the Playbook mostly for videos and it does play most of the formats I care about just fine, but there are a lot of features that Android players have that it lacks.

For example, the ability to resume where you left off on any give file. The ability to bookmark a place to go back to and look again is also needed.

Probably the worse problem with the built-in player is how hard it is to adjust the playing position. If I get distracted watching a movie it's very difficult to adjust back a few seconds. Actually it's very difficult to position it within a minute or two of where I want it. It's easier on shorter files but full length movies are a real pain. I nearly always have to watch a few extra minutes just to re-listen to a line or two.

My guess is that nobody who can do anything about it will see this post, but just in case...and besides where else can I suggest this? It's all but impossible to contact Blackberry unless you also have one of their phones.

One of the best places to provide feed back to RIM developers, and to find out where in the priority list your concerns are is their beta zone:

Playbook does support a large variety, but there are just too many codecs to make work for all of them.

I use MP4 format and almost all them play fine. There are some great converters out there that can batch process all your vids ( granted you have the room for it)
