New application - Photo Studio in public BETA!!!
 

Dear friends,

Nowadays a new application for BlackBerry isnÆt a frequent event, but weÆve decided to start a new project û Photo Studio for BlackBerry. We would like to combine all useful features in all-in-one studio, make it simple, creative and cool.
Today weÆre glad to represent the first part û Photo Editor. Application has nice and simple interface, also it has a set of cool and interesting features. To try it you should select a photo from the ôMediaö application and choose ôEdit pictureö from the menu.

In current BETA version features list includes:
xxx9558; Brightness, contrast, RGB colors adjustment;
xxx9558; Hue, saturation;
xxx9558; Rotate, resize, crop operations;
xxx9558; A set of clips;
xxx9558; Effects: Grayscale, Ocean, Sepia, Mystique, Pink, Disco 80s, Old style, Old newspaper, Rainbow, Office style, Behind the glass and so on...
xxx9558; Apply several operations to one photo: you can edit a photo and apply all features and effects to one photo at the same time;
xxx9558; Save the result in two formats: you can save a result as screen dimensions photo or you can apply all stored operations to an original photo.

What we want to do to the next update:
1. New effects, new clips.
2. Touch screen devices support
3. Algorithms speed optimization.

A list of features we consider to implement:
1. Color splash effect.
2. Mini ôPaintö application.
3. DropBox auto-upload after taking a photo or applying effects.
4. Automatically put the date and time to every photo (after take a photo).
5. Automatically apply a frame or effect to every photo.
6. Making own effects from the list of simple effects.
7. Upload to Flickr?
8. What else?à

v.0.9.2.6 update is released, in this version:

- support devices with touch screen (BlackBerry Torch, BlackBerry Storm/Storm 2)
- fix issues with frames and rotate with big photos
- new effect (An old photo), new frames

when saving edited pic...is there a choice to save as new pic rather than saving to original pic?

also when editing color,if you reset to original and want to re-edit color...it will not edit,you have to exit, and go back into edit...does not happen every time though.

Hi, thanks for your feedback, my answers:

1. try to set "Override ready photo" in settings to false
2. Just checked it in "change colors" screen and can't reproduce it

- PhotoStudio: Camera+ : use this application to make and edit photos immediatelly after you've made a shoot. You can disable system

preview and use Camera+ preview screen to manage a new photo. You have now 3 choices: "Remove", "Take a new photo", "Edit a photo"

with PhotoStudio.

- New frames and effects ("Office style", "An old photo", "Blue Gray", "Gold powder", "Invert", "Magic summer", "Stucco", "Violet",

"Rainbow on glass", "Summer Air", "Mint", "Good morning" and so on...)

- Support BlackBerry Style;

- Algorithm optimizations and fixes.

10x but I just wana ask abt all programs downloaded frome internet. On my black.B. Why they'r not working (not opening)

My question is how do i get the app to work because after i take a pic it does not come up ....and when i click on the app it goes direct to my cam and does not give me oppiton in the app to change no settings ....how does this app work ....was there and instruction i missed ?
