Bold 9650 Text Message icon missing
 

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone can help. My Bold 9650 Text Message icon is missing. I've tried pulling the battery in and out, I used default theme and never changed it, haven't downloaded any apps. I have enough memory both on my phone and memory card. The one thing I did was deleted Whatsapp application and the icon has been missing since. Would appreciate any help i can get on getting the icon back. Thanks in advance (y)

Obvious question first. It isn't hidden, isn't in a folder?

No. I've checked and double checked. All folders, files and apps are shown.

Just an update, finally got the text message icon back by upgrading to OS 7, not forgetting to back up everything before the upgrade. I didn't manage to get the text messages back though because it failed to back up, just glad to have the text message app/icon back. Thanks (:

I was going to suggest next backup and then reset to factory, followed by reinstalling (or upgrading) the OS if that didn't work.

At any rate, glad you got it fixed.
