Blackberry Newbie - help!

:smile: Hello,

I've just got my first Blackberry (8520 curve) and i need help using Blackberry Messenger.

I've put my current Contract SIM into the phone and will continue to use this SIM. How do i activate my BBM PIN? Do I need to text a certain number a code or something?

No. Each device has a unique PIN, and once you have activated your new device, the PIN can be used for PIN-based messaging services such as BBM.

But, you need to have a BB dataplan activated on your account (and SIM).
