help needed with bbm message alert
 

Hi All
I am new to the forum and have been searching all night on the net for a solution to a problem i am having with my bbm message alert icon on the main screen at the top. It is indicating I have 4 messages unread but when I open bbm there are no messages unread!!!! My sister bought a new blackberry today and was trying to add me on bbm, it was 'bleeping' indicating an incoming bbmessage but there was no message ! can anyone suggest how I can delete the 4 message alert on the main page as it is annoying me????

Check your messages list, or expand every option in the bbm interface. Its possible that those notifications are contact requests.

thanks for that, they will be def contact requests but i cannot find where to open them as iv searched through all drop downs on bbm and there are none showing up!!!!
