They are all just crap; and now that they've made the OS way to discombobulated for all the old-boy lawyers in my firm, you can add 'too complicated to use easily'. In my firm, there has been a stampede over the last 2 years to ANYTHING but BB. Personally I prefer iOS, but this dinosaur, BB, has had its day, missed the boat, and lost all relevance in the world.

Time to face the inevitable, BlackBerry: fold up, sell off your patents, and go the way of Nortel, already!

BlackBerry is here to stay. Largest MDM in the world. Most secure MDM in the world.

Even Samsung with their Knox had to seek BlackBerry guidance on security.

Your sheep, in your blind stupor over a dying breed, missed the point completely: of COURSE a grade 3 could use a Z10 better than an adult: if he/she could NOT, then they would have to be retarded. Totally brain dead. What I was referring to, eloquently, I might add, was that old-fart lawyers, who grew up with typewriters, and secretaries who ran to make coffer, those users, they are the ones being alienated. At least on the old devices, with the keyboard and less-flashy OS, techno-phobes could do EVERYTHING they want to do on a BB: check and respond to email. Period. Everything else, iPhone and Android do MUCH better; BB should do what THEY are good at: security. They got to greedy, too lazy and complacent, and look at them now - in their death-knells. Good Riddance.

Let me see if I can summarize.

BlackBerry is dead. They should make phones for old fart lawyers. They should focus on security. Those are three different opinions you've espoused, and BlackBerry is already doing two of them. Perhaps you've heard that the Bold 9900 is back in production, and the Classic is coming next month. Perhaps you've heard that BlackBerry signed an agreement with Samsung last week to provided end-to-end security on Knox enabled devices.

I'll believe you're not just flame baiting when you acknowledge that BlackBerry is indeed alive and well; that they are making devices for every customer, including traditional corporate types; and that they are the biggest MDM company on the planet. If you deny any of those, you're denying facts.

Also, to answer your original question - not only do I believe that BlackBerry will be around in five years, but I believe that I will still be using a BlackBerry device, probably on BES19.

Well, aren't you just the most FABULOUS peach: thank you sooo much, Sweet-tits, for pointing out typos. In your sad attempt to beat the BB drum, YOU latch onto anything you can - alluding, as it is, that I do not know how to spell these words, or don't know basic grammar. It's called a TYPO, because I typed it quickly, stop and go, and my slender fingers tend to fall between the letter's crack occasionally (when not falling between my silky thighs, that is). Also, there IS spell check, you arsehole, so that just proves my point and makes you look like the fool you are.

The ONLY thing BB's will be doing in 5 years is getting kicked under an open door to be used as a wedge. They are crap, have almost always been crap, and now that REAL phones have emerged, (Apple, Android), the BB party is OVER. They are already dead, just don't know when to lie down.
