Connecting TMO Router to Airport Extreme? Is this possible

I'm thinking outloud that i'm gonna have to purchase the TMO router tomorrow since the airport UMA scenario is looking bleek. Can you connect a Linksys router and Airport Extreme router via the same cable modem (in my case)?

Cable modem has a USB and ethernet cable but the Ethernet cable is connected to the airport extreme and then everything connects through that. Don't see how I could connect a TMO router via that setup???

I have read about many issues with the Airport Extreme router and UMA. You should be able to connect them on the same system. Plug in the TMo router directly to the cable modem. Then plug in the other router to the tmo router.

Do some searching around. There were some posts about connecting two routers like that.
