bb 8830 World Edition question
 

Hi all. I just got my first bb and it a 8830 world. My service carrier is Metro PCS and the phone had been flashed before given to me. I have 2 questions...
(1) if i download the bb desktop manager software will that undo the flashing? (2) the internet does not work, any suggestions?
