Info:
BlackBerry Bold 9000 Barry 0.16 Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty I'm trying to use my blackberry as a modem for Ubuntu, I have followed various posts around the forums and downloaded barry and libbarry. I can start the connection process, and btool -l detects my BlackBerry, but when it's IP time it sends and returns the same line until it comes to this: sent [IPCP ConfReq id=0xfc <addr 0.0.0.0>] rcvd [IPCP ConfNak id=0xfc <addr 10.102.16.35>] sent [IPCP ConfReq id=0xfd] rcvd [IPCP ConfAck id=0xfd] Could not determine local IP address Connect time 0.2 minutes. Sent 40994 bytes, received 16448 bytes. sent [IPCP TermReq id=0xfe "Could not determine local IP address"] rcvd [IPCP TermAck id=0xfe] sent [LCP TermReq id=0x2 "No network protocols running"] rcvd [LCP TermAck id=0x2] Connection terminated. Waiting for 1 child processes... script /usr/sbin/pppob, pid 32567 sending SIGTERM to process 32567 APN: BlackBerry.net The number to dial is: *99# Username and pass should be left blank. I used the Sprint peer as a base to change to those requirements but to no avail. Anyone that might be able to help please? Zarek Daniel |
