Do you require instant notifications prior to any forum? Other forums maybe taking the credit, but DataOutages.com is the first place that will actually provide you with Outage information.

Head on over to DataOutages.com and sign up for the mailing list! 3,000+ others already have!

great post there Guess. This is an awesome site

It wouldn't be as awesome if it wasn't for the mods and admin's that I've had and do have to help maintain order on the Outage list.

Sith_Apprentice 05-20-2008 03:07 PM

Thanks Sith:smile:

I'd like to get this out to the BGR, engadget.com, etc so more people know about the partnership. The more people that know about the list, the better it is for everyone.(y)

I've been trying to get something like this for months!
I even asked the experts at WES 2008 and they didn't know about this site.
(I guess they need to spend more time in the forum! ;-0 )

JSanders 06-09-2008 11:16 AM

lol, yes they do.

Mandel 06-27-2008 03:27 PM

I can't connect to the site. I get a 403 Forbidden message.

NJBlackBerry 06-27-2008 03:30 PM

At work?
Behind a firewall?

Dataoutages.com works for me (right this minute)

How do I sign up so I get it as a text.

Silly question... what happened to this mailing list? It's been many moons since I received any email notifications from DataOutages. Have they gone the way of the dinosaurs and the Dodo Bird? :?

Wonder what they will do with all the information from their mailing list(s)?

Re: Want instant nofication? Get it from the DataOutages.com Mailing List

As of January 1st, Both sites and mail lists are shutting down. The subscribers to the lists don't have anything to worry about as their information will just as always remain private. All the information will be moved to another drive and locked up as well as anything on the server. I just can't justify running the site anymore by myself, Joe Sanders did a GREAT job helping with the lists but all good things must come to an end. Nobody has even stepped forward to make an offer to purchase the sites and take over the mail lists so I'm just going to shut everything down, I have much more important things that I'm dealing with personally.

Sorry to hear that, all the best for the future.
If you're shutting it down, please delete the info rather than just moving it to another server in indefinite storage.

Re: Want instant nofication? Get it from the DataOutages.com Mailing List

All the subscribers will be deleted and the drives destroyed with a .50 mil but we are keeping the archives just for our own records. I've done that with every project I've ever done both privately like this was and also for the companies I work for.
