blackberry.net on billing statement?
I've noticed when I check my online billing statement that when I go under "Data Used," there are entries labeled "blackberry.net."
What does this mean? They're usually 1x a day mostly at the same exact time, between 2-3am in the morning, but sometimes as late as 4am. The type of message says "Internet/MEdia Net" and they're always outgoing messages with varying message sizes. Why is this on there? Thanks. |
Don't know. Could just simply be the daily data usage you accumulate.
You don't even say who your carrier is. How much data is being transmitted. |
Carrier is ATT / Cingular and the data being sent is anywhere from 2kb to 322kb.
|
is it the only data on the bill?
|
So far because I just started a new billing cycle.
I've taken a screenshot I just need to get to 10 posts and then I can post it. |
I mean maybe it's just a daily update?
|
|
I think someone said this is the daily total instead of the actual data from when used. Gets around the problem early Iphone users had where the bills were hundreds of pages long due to all the detail.

Could be something AT&T does... I know VZW does a reset/test/ping early in the morning with Aircards (Barely noticable).. AT&T might do something similiar with thier BlackBerrys.
Have you spoke with customer service yet maybe they could give you a quick explanation? (other then that I'm not too sure.) |
dang thats crzy

Wirelessly posted (BOLD)
Its the cumulative of the browsing for the past day. It is that early in the morning from my understanding because that is when they reset the data/blackberry servers or something like that. I've called att on this before. Its nothing to worry about |
