Synchronization with Mac OS 10.9

I've been told by Blackberry support that synchronization of contacts and calendar are not possible with Mac OS 10.9. Are there any alternatives other than switching brands of phones?

are you running outlook on the mac?

if yes is there a connector you can install to use Outlook.com email service?

then phone can sync to Outlook.com and you wont need cables anymore

Yes, I'm running Outlook. What's the connector's name? How do I find it?

Thanks for your help.

That link tells you how to set up Outlook 2011 on a Mac. I've already done that.

The problem is getting the Outlook 2011 on the Mac to synchronize the contacts with my Blackberry 9930. Basically, the Blackberry support staff has told me this is not possible.

That is a real bummer -- I don't know why the are not supporting this for their users and really indicates a lack of investment by Blackberry. That will influence the type of phone I purchase when it is time to replace my Blackberry since I really relied on this when I had my Windows computer.
