Anyone know the pricing? Also is it possible to move your icons to the bottom of the screen similar to the T Mobile version? Cingy's color theme is hideous.

Will it be available both online (regular and premier websites) and in the stores on 11/21. Pricing? Different pricing online vs. in stores?

The black on the phone looks a bit dull, almost like a matte finish compared to the pics of the TMO 8100. Is this the way it is or is it just the photos?

I would hope it's a matte like finish. The glossy on the Tmo version smears and smudges way too easily.

Agreed...as much as I don't like the gray, the matte black would be nice.

Good eyes!! I like the Cingular look a lot. The matte finish is nice and the silver really sets it apart. Shiny phones get smudges and a matte finish hides them much better. I, for one, CAN NOT WAIT to get this phone!!

I called Cingular and it's definitely official. THe guy said they only get pricing info 3 days before so maybe on the 18th we can find out pricing info. He also said since it's such a hot selling phone that it probably will not be on the website before then. It will be in stores AND on the website on the 21st. YAY!

well the T-mobile site no longer says T-mo exclusive on the pearl so that just leds the credibility to the reports!

Anyone know if the Cingular firmware is available? Also, is there a way to code the T-Mo Pearl to have the Cingular theme, etc?

The 8100 does not appear on the Cingular software download site at this moment.

Hmmm...well before when I called the 21st was confirmed, but I called just now to make sure (because I was planning to leave work early to get it) and they said that they are pretty sure it won't be tomorrow. He said the beginning of December. He said they often don't have dates for things...they will come in the morning and see that they have new phones ready to be sold. He said soon but he is pretty sure it won't be tomorrow. That sucks.

Sounds good. I called two in San Leandro (one on Juana St. and the other on E.14th). Last week the one on E. 14th said the 21st would be when they would have the Pearl's available but then yesterday another sales rep said that was not true. Then today I tried the other store on Juana and he said he doesn't thin it's tomorrow but he thinks it will be soon. He said lots of new phones will be coming out the beginning of December and the Pearl is one of them. He said that anything can happen though, it may be before or after.
