How to stop making acidental calls?

I have a BB 9000 and every so often I accidentally make calls which have cost me dearly on pay as you go.
My current case is soft (real) leather and does not stop the problem.
I need a case which has a bit of a gap between 'phone and case so keys cannot be pressed inadvertantly.

Thanks

This is the right answer. A case will not help.
