Non-Syncing Calendar solved: details preserved.

I wrote this down shortly after getting the calendar to work again on my 8330 thinking I would be less likely to forget a step. I hope itxxx8217;s of some help to others with the same problem.

Problem: Following a wipe and restore from a fresh functioning backup file, DTMgr would not recognize the calendar in the device or Outlook and would not write to the Device or Outlook calendar. All other functions would sync normally; tasks, memo, and Datavault. This was done with a cable sync; not a wireless connection.

Wiped device
Uninstalled the BB OS
Uninstalled DTMgr
Entered Reg Edit:
Deleted RIM under HKEY Local Machine
Deleted RIM under HKEY Current User
Deleted RIM under HKEY Classes
Rebooted
Reinstalled DTMgr:
Selected Desktop Redirector even though I get messages through BIS (and will not use BES)
Reinstalled BB OS
Clean up Calendar Folders in Outlook:
Deleted unused Calendar folder in Outlook
Moved an archive Calendar folder from Personal Folders to Archive Folders
Attached Curve 8330
Restored 3rd party apps previously saved with the Change Device function
Opened organizer restore file and stopped restore function
Opened advanced function and deleted from the restore file "Calendar" and "Calendar All"
Did not delete Calendar Options
Closed advanced, opened restore organizer function and set options to write from PC to device for Calendar; and to sync both directions for memo, tasks, and 3rd party apps (Datavault)
Synced device
Calendar items in Outlook transferred to Device

That took care of the calendar, which was vexing to say the least. Now I have an exception error for Audible that I never had beforexxx8230;. So Ixxx8217;m off to try and solve that.
