Bling Crystal Rhinestone Faceplate for Curve
 

I got this from Fashion Cell Shop: Fashion cell phone accessories, bling cell phone, rhinestone faceplate, ipod cases, Sidekick & Motorola Cases and thought I would share my thoughts on it. They were only $39.95 so I decided to try it out. The shipping was fast! The faceplate is just a clear case with rhinestones glued on. There was no "protectant" painted over it, so you could feel the sticky glue underneath the crystals and it was REALLY easy for a stone to pop off. So I painted a layer of clear nail polish over the whole thing and it fixed the problem PERFECTLY. I also cut off the little bar the stretches across the middle. It got in the way big time of the trackball and I think it looks better without it. There's also this swivel clip attachment that can go on the back which I don't use. So there is this blank space in the middle of the back that doesn't look too appealing. They have them for Pearls and the 8700 models too. I am going to get the other color (swirl) and get rid of this one. They're worth it I guess for only 40 bucks! I haven't seen any other "bling" faceplates discussed on here before. Let me know if you have come across any other faceplates like this.

I think its cute. Do the rhinestones hurt your hands when you're using your BB? Seems like it would be uncomfortable. Pretty though :)

I would love to see where some more bling faceplates are, but personally I think $40 is too much for that. Doesn't seem well made. Like you said, you had to put nailpolish over it. I could do it with a clear faceplate just the same for cheaper, they have rhinestones at Walmart for cheap, looks like the same kind.... I'll check back to see if anyone else lists anymore. Very cute though! I luv rhinestones and bling lol.

This is priced way high, but they are so cute, just wanted you to see these designs they are amazing. They sell the blank faceplates as well for $14.

I just purchased this same case from ebay for $20 and it does not have the blank section in the back for the belt clip. I did take your advice on applying the clear nailpolish, hopefully the rhinestone will stay on longer with this method, if they dont, hey- it was only 20 bucks.

Sorry, but at $40 you got ripped off, that case is worth $10 maybe, judging by the poor manufacturing. There are a ton of better cases out there for 1/4 the price. Here is a seller on Ebay who sells a decent selection of cases for the Curve only $15. I bought 3 there... and they are great quality for the price.

Rhinestones, not Swavorski crystals, which I had on my Magenta Razr, and that cost a mint. These are super reasonable and I can swap out the colors to match my mood... might get a Swavorski one later though.

i actually just bought my curve (which I love) and the bling case. gonna order two from ebay and dish out the big bucks for the real thing as well. Thanxs for your post i enjoyed it:smile:
