Application Permissions Question - Domino 4.1.4

Does anyone know of a way to prevent a user from changing application permissions? This application (GPS) was installed and a policy implemented to prevent the user from deleting it, but now the users have figured out how to change the permissions to deny....now the app does not run.

If not, is there a way to block the users access to the application so they cannot make any setting changes in the program?

Thanks

I'm not sure I understand....the user installed a GPS application but they cannot use it? They get permission denied?

I think he's got a tracking application on the devices and the users have changed the permissions to stop the reporting back of the device location.

DOH! That sure sounds like a reason for the user to join the unemployment line....

Right...we have installed it, and the user has gone in and selected deny to stop the reporting

What version/environment BES do you have?

I updated your thread title to include Domino - maybe DarthBBerry will stumble by and can help.

I received a response back from RIM on this question....

We have tested the IT Policy for LBS and found that this issue has been previously documented in SDR154459.

RIM's current policy is that the Location Tracking will be enabled unless the user will disable the feature. This option will not be suppressed due to privacy reasons.
