I think you might require something like WebMessenger or IM+ to IM chat on your Blackberry? Mark correct me if I'm wrong...

Has anyone tried the MSN from http://www.mobile.msn.com ?

I have tried it and it is very good. The only problem is it requires manual refreshing to see if you have any new IMs

That's true.

My favourite messaging software is WebMessenger from www.webmessenger.com .... It is very reliable whenever the network is running properly and the BES server is running properly.

Other people may prefer to look at BlackChat (free ICQ) and IM+ (cheaper MSN/ICQ/AIM), as they both work on BlackBerry. There's 2 other clients that work on the BlackBerry nowadays, but they slip my mind at the moment!

For desktop use, I use Trillian which puts MSN/ICQ/AIM in one contact list (one buddy list), and you can put an ICQ skin or MSN skin theme so that your MSN/AIM/ICQ look like one of your favourite clients. Trillian is at http://www.trillian.cc

I must agree with Mark that Trillian is the greatest.

The price is right and it is nice to have all you friends integrated into one program.

There is no trillian for blackberry... try verichat or webmessenger

Moving this to aftermarket aps. Doesn't belong in Off Topic, as it is ON TOPIC. ;) Thanks. And trillian on desktop ROCKS.
