vocal notification of battery status
 

I got a reconditioned Tour 9360 from Verizon. I like the phone but it came with a really weird addition, assumably from a super Blackberry guru. When the battery's fully charged a voice (male, Bronx accent) announces "Charging complete". When the battery gets to 15% he says "Running low on battery". He's loud and obnoxious. I asked for help at Verizon and they haven't a clue why this is happening. Does anyone know how to remove this guy? Thanks.

Its a third party battery monitering app called Battery Watch. Find the icon of a battery on your Berry, and you can change the alerts, or just uninstall it.

Thank you! I've found out that the voice name is Gilbert - as in Gottfried. Strange voice to want to announce your charge.
