Verizon Wireless BB 7750 Questions!!!
Would anyone know if I could use a AIM software with this? I have Verizon and really don't want to lose the coverage but I have been thinking about the BB.. I just got my phone so I can take advantage of the 1 Month guarantee policy that they gave me and return my phone now and just pay the difference for the BB. What software do they use? Palm? Also people that have this phone preferrably but "IS IT WORTH IT?" I've had the Treo before and not impressed. Also can u also install 3rd party software? Someone please let me know b/c if I get this and if it's a Palm OS then I can transfer my software from my T3.
Thanks! |
BlackBerry uses software written specifically by Research In Motion (RIM) for the BlackBerry. It is not Palm software, and you can NOT take Palm software and install it on a BlackBerry. You can install software specifically written for the BlackBerry, which is much less common than Palm software.
If you love your Palm software, you may be disappointed in the BlackBerry. The BBs strengths are wireless e-mail, with a decent phone and adequate browser. The strengths definitely do not include the number of third party applications available. |
