Only getting one-way wireless synch

Hi, fantastic site btw.. I'm a new BES admin, and hope to contribute a lot in the future.

Our BES has been operational for a couple of weeks now. I may be delusional, but when i first tested the features i'm sure i had 2-way synch.

ie.. i could create/delete mail items/calendar entiries on my outlook client and the changes would be replicated on the handheld (and vice versa) *without having to connect via USB lead.

Now it seems that it only works one-way (from the handheld) Any changes made from the Outlook client arent replicating until the handheld is docked. (this really sucks as the CheifExec, Chair etc all have PAs who edit thier calendars)

Afffecting all users. CDO versions on BES & Exchange are correct. Wireless synch (apparently) enabled. Have stopped started services, re-added users etc... could somebody put me out of my misery!?

BES documentation is AWFUL.. so vague and ambiguous. I'm finding it hard to get a definitive answer as to whether true 2-way synch is even possible!

Try thumbwheel click in BlackBerry and select "Reconcile Now";

Also, BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.0 improves wireless synchronization support; you might want to get the 4.0 beta and evaluate if the beta actually makes your life easier than harder. The 4.0 beta is now available to existing BES 3.6 users; you can apply for it.

2-way sync is the norm on BlackBerrys.

To resolve a recurring yet intermittent 1-way sync problem on our handhelds, I have had to rest some units for them to start syncing both ways.

Use the reset button on the handheld, or ALT-CAP-DEL, or remove and re-insert the battery.

This has fixed my problems here about 95% of the time.
