Desktop Software Upgrade?

I just upgraded my Operating System on my 8310 to 4.5.0.52. I have desktop software version 4.2.2.14. I would like to upgrade my desktop software but don't know what version to choose. Can someone lead me in the right direction please.

Better read reviews on both. Because if that is new that doesn't mean that is better then previous one....
