Re: BlackBerry Enterprise Server License Trade Up
I guess/I hope that if you "trade up" your existing BES 5 license for a BES10, you kan keep it running until the last phone is exchanged for a BB10 OS handheld ?

Re: BlackBerry Enterprise Server License Trade Up
OK, I'm confused.
What is the difference between Blackberry Enterprise 10 and Blackberry Device Service with Blackberry Mobile Fusion? |
Re: BlackBerry Enterprise Server License Trade Up
Blackberry Device Service with Blackberry Mobile Fusion = This exists now
Blackberry Enterprise 10 = This will exist in the future, it combines BDS + UDS + Fusion |
Re: BlackBerry Enterprise Server License Trade Up
Whether or not you already have an Enterprise Mobility Management solution from BlackBerry® in place, installing
BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 is simple and gives you more management and control of your devices than ever before. Start your trial here https://www.blackberry.com/eBES/trialOrder.do?id=161 you can start trading up CALs now, Remember this is not for BES Express 5 use advanced to enter in up to 20 diff CAL keys at a time http://blackberry.com/licensetradeup http://press.rim.com/newsroom/press/...-download.html |
Re: BlackBerry Enterprise Server License Trade Up
Ah, I jumped the gun. This is 'not' Blackberry Enterprise Server 10, but Blackberry Enterprise Service 10.
Looks to me it's just a re-branding of what I've been testing all along, Blackberry Device Service (now called BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10) Blackberry Universal Device Service Blackberry Mobile Fusion This look correct? |
Re: BlackBerry Enterprise Server License Trade Up
Most likely, the name, otherwise (I guess) not much.

|
Re: BlackBerry Enterprise Server License Trade Up
I think blackberry wil still sell you CAL licenses.
https://store.shopblackberry.com/sto...emeID.39123800 Should be a good starting point. Otherwise, used licenses could be also available from online resellersm Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile |

Re: BlackBerry Enterprise Server License Trade Up
Hello
Do you know if blackberry trade up still work for upgrading cals from bes5 to bes10 ? If program is not available anymore, is there any way to upgrade the BES5 cals to BES10 ? I am having difficulties to contact Blackberry support... If we move users from one server bes10 to another bes10 in order to prevent issues with the CALs, we need to remove the user from the source BES, is that correct ? Thank you in advance, |
The TradeUp from 5 to 10 does not exist any more.
Support for BES 10 ends end of this year. I would try to move to BES12 if this is possible for you. Posted via BlackBerryForums.com Mobile |
