getting orange maps to work

Hi, wonder if anyone can shed any light on this. Downloaded orange maps yesterday morning, all fine with downloading it, however I can't get the maps to work. Keeps coming back with the same message, sorry unable to subscribe, please try again later. Tried all sort including a full re install and a few full resets, but no joy. Rang orange a few times, they can't tell me what's up, told me they will get back to me when they find something out!!!! Its a bb 8900 curve I've got. Anyone else had any similar problems?

Try Google Maps or BlackBerry Maps. If either of those work, then it's an internal Orange issue.

You might also check with Orange to confirm you have a BlackBerry data plan properly provisioned on your account.

Hi, google maps and bb maps work fine, and have an adequete data plan. Orange seem to be at a loss, so not sure whats going on.

I keep getting a similar problem on my 9700, I get as far as choosing the maps package but the the registration fails "sorry we cannot access Orange Maps at the moment. Please try again later"

I have been trying for the last 2 months! Google and Blackberry maps work fine, but I really wanted OM as it is free on my tariff and does turn by turn with voice.

Orange kindly keep telling me it is a known issue, but have never resolved the problem for me yet!?! :x

Have you managed to get yours working yet?

I had got mine to work a few times...I don't use it regularly but it seems that the subscription keeps had expiring, even tho it was supposed to carry on until I cancelled it. I keep being charged for it and have not made a formal complaint to Orange you say they're investigating. They keep telling me to text 'orange maps' to 247 so that I can download a new version but it still doesn't work. Orange need to sort this...........
