activation of enterprise plan

You need to request activation from the system administrator at your company. That's assuming that you have a BlackBerry plan that include BES, of course.

I currently have a 8800 with BES through my company and just received a 9630. I assume the process isn't as easy as replacing the SIM card from one unit to the other and voila... will I need a new activation from our administrator?

I have noticed that with the SIM card inserted into the new unit, I can make and receive calls...

Your BES sysadmin still has to set up your activation.
