Zooming Email? Can't see it well
 

I am a Verizon subscriber and have had the Tour for years (9630). I finally have the time to search, but have found no solution. Verizon says the Tour doesn't have the capability to zoom an email message.

Is there a way, if not, is there a work-around. The use of larger fonts is not an acceptable solution for me. I want to be able to magnify and then go back the way it was. It would be nice to have various levels of magnification.

I went in to a Best Buy store and had a email message in which I needed to show the clerk an order number. Neither one of us could read the number; it was just too small.

If no "regular solution" and no work-around, is there an app that would do what I want...pros/cons?

Well over 300 views and no comments. I guess that means, it can't be done. Very disappointing. I guess it will be my last Blackberry. As the population ages, the more zoom capability will be needed. What an oversight on the part of software designers at Blackberry...! Not even an add-on app...

The newer devices have pinch and zoom. The 9630 is old now. I can zoom on my 9930 - works great. You should consider upgrading Also when the BB10 devices are released early next year they will have larger displays and the ability to zoom. You should check out some of the videos of BlackBerry 10. The difference is amazing. There will be full touch and keyboard devices.

The new BB10 phone is interesting or it will be when released in 1st quarter of 2913, and I've watched some of unauthorized videos on it. The authorized video on BB website shows little. But what will it offer in terms of cost and features that Iphone 5 and Galaxy S3 have. If it doesn't match them, I don't want it. If it doesn't surpass them in some way, what's the point. Right now, I'm trying to survive with the 9630 while my kids have the Iphone 5 and Galaxy S3. I've never been happy with touch screens in the past but the keyboards seem to be waning.
