Re: icloud email

Adding an iCloud account to a BlackBerry Z10

From the Home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen
Select Settings > Accounts
If this is the first email or social networking account you are setting up, select Email, Contacts or Calendar
If you have other email or social networking accounts set up already, select Add Account, then select the type of account you want to add.
Enter your iCloud.com account login credentials and tap Next
Optionally change additional settings such as synchronization preferences for your iCloud.com contacts and calendar
Tap Done.

Re: icloud email

It should be a simple email setup. Your Z10 will choose to use the IMAP protocol by default. If for any reason you need to configure it manually, these are my settings:

User Name: full email address
Incoming Server: mail.mac.com
Port: 993
Encryption: SSL
SMTP Server: smtp.mac.com
SMTP Port: 587
SMTP Encryption: StartTLS

I chose a sync interval of 30 minutes but also selected "Use push is supported". It is indeed supported. At the time of setup you can also select how many days of email to sync. We now (finally!) get the option "forever" so all your old email is available for searching and displaying.
