cant send messages after upgrade?
 

i got a new upgrade for about 2 weeks ago, it says that i have a certificate with a stale status

Can someone please help me,i have tryed to fix it for 2weeks, but i am a totaly noob

Are you on a company server with your Blackberry? Also what is your carrier for service.

thanks for reply, how do i check if i am on a company server,and by carrier for service,is that what network i use,or what sim card operator i use..

The blackberry phone is either owned by a company and the service is controlled by that company for all employees . the other service is when the phone is NOT on a company server and uses the cell phone providers servers to communicate. The Blackberry is not like other phones because it is highly secure and validates the validity of the connection the user is trying to use. When it comes to email or any type of internet communication it checks the security certificate ( SSL ) and if it finds it outdated or invalid it notifies the user. If your using a Blackberry phone without Blackberry service and just using a SIM to make calls and send emails it may be the carrier but if your on a Blackberry data plan then I need more details.

oki, the phone is not owned by any company,i think i use the sim card to send emails.but all my mails that i send need that security certificate before it sends.what more do you need to know, shall i take a picture and upload it here,will that help??

i really need the phone to work

No need to post photos. the server that your using for emails must have an outdated security certificate. You can try re-registering with the email server by deleting the email account and re-entering the info to connect on your phone. If that does not work it may be worth contacting the email provider and see if they are of the expiration of their security certificate.

oki, thanks do i need to use the original email,that is used first with the phone, cause i dont know that email,or can i register with another email??
are there any place on the phone that i can see the mail i use now?

cause i think i have the code for the email,but i dont know the email name or adress

In checking further, if the SSL certificate is invalid or expired you can do nothing to bypass the problem on your phone. It requires the email server to be fixed.

Again it may be wise to contact the provider.

in the setting icon, check the configuration of the email on the phone. If your using a web email service it wont be in the configuration.
Just copy the configuration shown or add a second one and give it a try but keep in mind if the server is outdated you may not be able to by-pass the problem.

Do an internet search for the manual of the model you have for more detail on the method to edit the configuration.

The SSL certificate is not controlled by Blackberry. the email provider controls their own servers.
The error your getting does indicate it IS expired.
