the phone died, led is red, and it wont turn on

Hey, my 8520 died tonight when i was speaking with a friend, now the led is constantly red and it wont turn on, not even while it's charging. I don't know what to do. Please Help!

Are you using a wall charger? If not, I would suggest it and also leave it plugged in for a couple hours.

yes, it's a wall charger, but I just think it's wierd that it just died like that, the battery was full, and I think it's pretty wierd that the led is still red, it usually turns white when charging.

In addition, if you are using a microSD memory card, remove it, and see if that's the problem.

And if it is a matter of the battery having gone dead, ditto on using the wall charger. After it has charged for 30-60 minutes, remove the battery while it is still plugged in, and then replace the battery. After it has reached some charge level, it should boot. And then you can leave it to finish charging.

Another thought, have you dropped it? Exposed it to moisture? (Be aware people have had trouble with something as slight as a sweaty pocket or a humid shower room.) If is moisture is a possibility, you should remove the battery now and dry the device. And see the FAQ on what to do if you get your blackberry wet.

I experienced the same issue, i popped out the battery for a minute then replaced it and plugged in the charger. An hour later i checked it expecting to find a dead phone but it already booted up and was fine.
