Wirelessly posted (TMO 8120 4.5.0.52)

I still have mine under advanced settings. On .52

Mine is gone! Or was never there, actually, that I noticed!

2 Attachment(s)
I have the "Options" > "Advanced Options" > "Wireless Update" "functionality/capability" as well...

Is it related to the "Provisioning [OTASL]" service book? Or is this SB used for something else??

alexxdow 07-18-2008 07:04 AM

so i am not crazy, it was there.
what shall i do guys ? plz advice

Wireless Upgrade isn't active on RIM's network yet.
Stop worrying about it. Even if it's on your device, you still can't use it.

alexxdow 07-18-2008 08:51 AM

really ? ok thanks, just wondering why its gone :)

Resend the service book from the BES. then it will show up.

I am curious to found out what the "wireless upgrade" function does as well, i have it on my phone now, but haven't played around with it...

For the Nth time... Wireless Upgrade is not yet activated on RIM's infrastructure. It doesn't do anything yet.
There's nothing to play with.

When it's ready, and turned on, it'll offer the functionality of wirelessly upgrading your BlackBerry OS.
