Problems downloading latest software
 

I am trying to download the latest software to link my PC to my Pearl but on the three seperate occasions I have run the download I receive a message stating error 2738 runtime VB script. Has anyone else had a similar problem and found a solution please?

If, when installing the Blackberry Desktop on a Vista machine, you get the following error, "Error 2738 Could not access VBScript runtime for custom action"

Do the following:

Go to Start\Programs\Accessories
Right Click Command Prompt and Run as Administrator
Type C:\Windows\System32 if not already there
Type regsvr32 vbscript.dll
Close the Command Prompt
