For the love of Bob! Do you ever use the search button?

Chris K 08-28-2010 10:42 AM

You could extend that to its logical conclusion where everything that's ever been said can be 'found' on google
But if everyone searched google we wouldn't need this forum

Not even close to a good analogy, and no, you can't get v1 back.

Why would you want version 1 anyway, stick with version 2.

One of the reasons for asking people to search first is to avoid cluttering the forum with multiple threads on the same subject or issue, and keep info on a topic together in one spot as much as possible. -- Makes it easier for those who come searching later.

Most of the stuff found on google, leads to forums like these.
The forums and the information people want came first, then google searched them.
