OS will not update
Returned the 1st Playbook, & got the 2nd one attached to the wireless network. Want's to update, but only gets to a maximum of 138 MB before the update freezes.
I have refreshed the Modem (Shaw Cable) by removing the power cord for a minute; refreshed the wireless router by also removing & replacing the power cord; turned off my computer's browser and turning it on. The update just stops. I am not having trouble with any of the 3 other computers accessing the internet. Any ideas? |

Have you tried to download the update to a PC/ Desktop Manager then doing the update locally and not subject to any delays or other issues while connected to the internet.

I was thinking along the same lines. I don't know exactly why the update is hanging, and didn't find anything specific. I would do a full backup and then try updating using desktop manager.
