Bold 9650 OS 6.0.0.431 - Can't Change Convenience Keys
 

Hey guys,

Work recently replaced my BB Curve with a BB Bold 9650. It came with OS 5 stock. Since they didn't setup Enterprise Activation yet, I decided to upgrade to OS 6. So far everything seems fine, with the exception of one problem: I'm 100% unable to configure the "convenience keys".

What happens: I hit "Options" -> "Convenience Keys". A grey window pops up (with Convenience Keys as the title) and then immediately disappears. I've already rebooted the phone to see if this would clear up the issue, however that didn't work. I also searched the forum to see if anyone else had a problem, but didn't find anything relevant.

Does anyone else have this problem, and if so know of a fix?

I've just completely reinstalled the OS by downloading the file straight from Verizon and going back over it. It still does the same thing. :(

Punkrulz -- did you ever figure this out? I have the exact same issue with 6.0.0.431

I recall that issue when I tried that version, I can say with certainty that the convenience keys in version 9650/6.0.0.524 work fine.

did you ever get a resolution on this? My new 9650 (Verizon) has the same problem.

Verizon has released an official .524 upgrade to that, there is obviously no resolution for the people that have the issue in 431. I had .431 and never had the issue to start with.
