Problem w/ Bold 9000, Now it wont turn on

Basically the Bold 9000 we have wont turn on. I tried battery pull and tried to get it to turn on with that but with no luck... Before it messed up the screen went white and an error message popped up... JVM Error 182... Any idea's as to what might be happening? Maybe a bad battery?

After doing some research it seems my only option is to wipe the device and start over. How do i do this without being able to turn the device on? I plugged it up to BB Desktop Software and tried to repair it but it told me i have a software update available for the phone... I tried doing that but got an error message when i got to the JVM part of it...

Wipe with Jl_cmdr (see the FAQ) and reload the OS (see the sticky at the top of the 9800 section).

Hope you have a good backup since all data and apps will be deleted.

I got it taken care of finally... I didnt have a backup but i have the phone working again... Basically after countless times of trying to repair the phone thru BB desktop software i finally got the right combo of battery pulls and reinserts so now the phone is back and functioning..

Great. Glad it worked itself out. But be aware that if it happens again, you could have a hardware problem.
