Hi there and apologies if under the wrong heading but going nuts here and need someones help

I live in Spain and currently on vodafone pay and go but I WANT A BLACKBERRY CURVE 9320 lol

Right problems i am facing

They tell me i have to purchase contract if i want this phone and i DONT WANT TO as i have internet with telefonica at home and there are enough wifi areas here to pick up emails, bbm ect if required

They also told me i had to buy the blackberry package too so that is extra cost!

I have heard that you could buy the phone and pick up emails bbm ect form my internet at home????

I am probably rattling here but please help as have money in my pocket dying to get this phone but dont want to be misold like a friend of mine with the apple and then had to get the contract for the interenet and cost a fortune

Blackberrys require a specific blackberry data plan. If you get a blackberry without one most carriers will automatically add one. If the cost is the issue ask for the lowest data plan available. Keep in mind you need to be careful with Apps that use data.

Email on a BB requires a BB data plan. No way around that because you must have the proper service books, even for wifi (in most cases).

does that mean you cant see your emails on the message icône if you dont have the Blackberry Internet service? So you cant use you mail with wifi simply?

That is correct. You *must* have a BlackBerry Data Plan to get your e-mail, even on WiFi.
