Remove IT Policy
 
Hi Guys/Girls

I need some help to Remove IT policy

I have an old BB 8310 with OS 4.2.2.146 and IT policy

and i can not find any way to remove IT Policy with this OS.
all i found is how to remove if OS is 4.3 or higher.

Is anyone that can help me with this problem?

I can not upgrade to OS 4.3 or higher?

Did you read the article in our FAQ on removing an IT Policy? did that help?

tryed and tryed but no chance

i did not find the registry policymanager
i tryed the crackit crackutil
and still no chance

i think i will change to another phone.

the reference is to a registry change.
If the BB does not seem to be without the IT Policy it may be that it is still connected to the BES server. Are you still using the BB for work? If your still connected, it will download the policy again.

The easiest way is to use latest version of desktop manager to remove it policy and to reverse device to factory default....

You do realize that the device 8310 with OS 4.2...

no, i am not using that device anymore, i have now a BB 9780

fadmin like also NJBlackBerry have said i can not change the version because now i am using a OS 4.2 and the IT policy does not let me change it.

:( there is now way i can get rid of this IT Policy on this 8310 :)

Ok , last try. Assuming you're not on a BES server, I would do a wipe then using JL-cmdr reload the OS following the FAQ. I tried it with an old 8310 ( disconnected from BES) and it does work as long as the BB is NOT still on the BES server.
