Android Devs vs. Apple Devs: FIGHT!

So FroYo was just finally officially released for the HTC Legend in the form of a FOTA update for Vodafone in four countries. In less than 24 hours, XDA devs had the ROM debranded, rooted and released in a flashable ZIP. I was thoroughly impressed considering that it takes Apple devs a week or more to get a new iOS jailbroken.

Granted, flashing this ROM requires the device to be rooted already, but it's still impressive in my book.

I love XDA. That forum is my home away from here, although pretty much all I do there is lurk. :-)

i doubt that apple os is late in jailbreak, they have beta builds and those are jailbroken, its just not released to the public in fear of apple patching the final build of the jailbreak.

as for xda, great fun site. alot of talent, even putting android on a winmo devices.

Yeah, I have 25 posts total since I joined in 2006. LOL

I have only started posting occasionally since I got my Legend.
