Modify Service book

Hi,

I want to modify the "MMS transport" service book of my curve 9300 to make it use an alternative MMS server.

I spent a few hours playing around with magickberry and other similar tools but they doesn't seem to support my bbb and the ipb I get when unzipping the bbb. All the tools I've found are old actually (2009) so they might be not up to date.

Is there any present solution to edit service book?

Thank you

No. Service books are not meant to be modified anyway.

So there is no way to configure such a basic service as MMS?! What a pity...

MMS is configured automatically when you have the proper data plan service active for the device.

Who is pushing this configuration in my mobile? Rim or my provider?

Your provider. Once you have the proper data plan (as above).

And they don't want anybody scamming services they're not paying for, or that governments have disabled, so they designed the service books to be un-editable.

I'm a MVNO customer and my problem is that it is the MNO's MMS settings that are pushed to my BB.... So MMS doesn't work for this MVNO on BB despite their have their own service.

Do you know what is the technogy used to push configuration? Binary SMS ?

Re: Modify Service book

No, it's pushed via the data network or WiFi once a proper BlackBerry data plan has been subscribed to. As you are on an MVNO that does not have a BlackBerry data plan, you will never have MMS.
